Paris, France – September 12, 2016 : Meteo Protect, the European leader in weather risk Meteo Protect today announced it was named a finalist in the sixth annual Constellation SuperNova Awards. The Constellation SuperNova Awards recognize leaders and teams for their innovative application of disruptive technology in business.

Meteo Protect has been recognized for its work responding to the effects of climate change, for businesses affected by weather variability, in increased costs of production or distribution, lost sales, or other effects along the supply chain. Meteo Protect provides clients with insurance policies and customized price quotes based on a set of individual parameters, using a web-based underwriting and pricing platform for providing completely customized insurance for any weather-related risk.

The winners will be announced at the SuperNova Awards Gala on October 27 in Half Moon Bay, California, during Constellation’s Connected Enterprise.
